Orange County Microbusiness Grants

$2,500 Grants available for small businesses owned by women, veterans, minorities, individuals without documentation, and individuals with limited English proficiency are encouraged to apply.

***Eligibility:

Fewer than 5 full-time equivalent employees and fewer than 5 full-time equivalent employees in the 2019 and 2020 taxable years.

Began operation prior to December 31, 2019

Currently active and operating, or has a clear plan to reopen when the state permits reopening of the business.

The Orange County Inland Empire Small Business Development Center Network is gathering data and conducting a survey with regard to how small businesses have been affected and recovered during the COVID-19 Pandemic. The use of this data and survey results will be compiled into a comprehensive report which will be presented at an event you are invited to on March 18th at the Great Wolf Lodge in Garden Grove.

Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas) is among First Utilities in the Nation to Transition its Over-the-Road Fleet with Hydrogen Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles

(SoCalGas) recently announced that it took delivery of 23 Toyota Mirai hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles (HFCEV), marking the company’s first purchase of hydrogen-powered vehicles. The company plans to expand its fleet of HFCEVs to 50 next month, making SoCalGas among the first utilities in the nation to start transitioning to hydrogen.
