Recycled Water is Coming to Las Flores Expect Construction Delays

Santa Margarita Water District (SMWD) is piping recycled water to Las Flores for watering common areas and parks! The drought-proof supply will help save more than 65 million gallons of drinking water for essential indoor use.

Phase one of construction runs now through July 31, 2022, on Antonio Parkway from Sweetwater to Meandering Trail. Crews will work Monday through Saturday from 7 AM to 10 PM to complete the work while school is out.

There will be traffic delays and lane closures during construction.

Solo musicians will perform favorite summer songs as you enjoy beautiful evenings at the Lago Santa Margarita Beach Club.

Rancho Santa Margarita community raised over $25,000 to sponsor a service dog for a military veteran or first responder.

The Patriotic Service Dog Foundation is raising and training RANCHO. The Patriotic Service Dog Foundation is a non-profit organization focused on serving our military and first responder veterans by raising awareness for their needs and providing Service Dogs to those who may benefit from long-term mental and physical assistance.

Topics will include wildfire prevention, emergency preparedness, home safety strategies, and fire insurance information. Representatives from OCFA and the State Department of Insurance will present the latest fire prevention and preparedness strategies to protect your home and family.

All are welcome to attend; no RSVPs are required!

C-SPAN VISITS RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA TO HONOR LOCAL STUDENTCAM DOCUMENTARY WINNER

C-SPAN will visit Las Flores Middle School in Rancho Santa Margarita on Thursday, May 19 at 6pm PT to honor Kaleel Nabi for the winning entry in C-SPAN's annual student video documentary competition
